Related Post: At a programme organized at party headquarters, Koteshwor, on the occasion of the 20th People’s War Day on Friday, Chairman Dahal accused the ruling parties of becoming dishonest. He at the programme urged the party cadres to unite for struggle. He further said the ruling parties of the NC and UML forgot the spirit of the 12-point understanding, interim constitution and compressive peace accord after the second Constituent Assembly elections. According to him, the agitation launched by the UCPN (Maoist) and its 30-party alliance will gradually corner the opposing forces. The present conflict, as he argued, is between those willing to empower people and those against this. “I want to urge you not to doubt and fear leadership, as the party does not deceive you. Maybe Prachanda or Baburam goes wayward, party’s struggle won’t see defeat,” he exhorted the party leaders available in the programme on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the People’s War. He told that the talks were underway with leader Mohan Baidya for the unification bid.
