DPM Krishna Bahadur Mahara calls on Chinese premier

Nepal’s Deputy Prime Minister and special emissary of PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday morning called on Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang. It has been learnt that the duo discussed issues of mutual cooperation and strengthening bilateral ties. Earlier on Tuesday, Mahara had met China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi and handed over Nepal visit invitations to Chinese President and Prime Minister Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang.
Mahara had left for China as a special envoy of PM Dahal on Monday. Before departing from Kathmandu, Mahara had said he would convey messages of Dahal about the new government’s plans and priorities.
