KP Sharma Oli accused PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal

Posted by Anup Baral September 28, 2016 : CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli accused Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of inviting India to exercise its role in implementing Nepal’s Constitution during his state visit to the Southern neighbor. While addressing the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament on Tuesday, the former Prime Minister objected to such invitation.
Claiming that the Prime Minister did not formally brief the House about his arrival after the visit, he accused the Prime Minister of giving space to India to seek latter’s role in the enforcement process of the country’s main law. Oli further accused the government of not making required preparations for holding the elections. He claimed that his party was not formally informed about the government’s preparations for amending the Constitution. The UML chair called on the government to come up with a substantive calendar for the enforcement of the Constitution.
