PM Prachanda to establish foreign missions to have cultural representatives

Nepal's Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) has announced that the Nepalese embassies in some of the major countries shall have representatives from the field of music, arts, literature and drama. Addressing the ninth assembly of Nepal Academy of Music and Drama on Sunday, PM Dahal said that Nepal’s music and culture will be promoted through the foreign missions. “Literature has somehow acknowledged every change of the nation. This move will give an extra life to literature, which plays a crucial role in establishing an ideal society,” said PM Dahal, adding, “Although politics looks different from arts/literature, both have an important in the society. Therefore, arts and literature will have representatives in foreign missions.”
