Meri Bassai is one of the longest nepali comedy serial with about 10 Years of broadcasting time. It is aired every Tuesday on Nepal Television. It is one of the most viewed television programs in Nepal. The show is produced by Media Hub Pvt. Ltd. Subha Media Home is production coordinator for this series.

 Kedar Ghimire who is popularly known as Magne Budo is celebrating his birthday today with the crew members of Chakka Panja movie. Magne Budo is celebrating his 42 birthday today. He started his career in media on 2056 B.S. He have worked on Hijo Aja Ka Kura, Jire Khursani and came into Meri Bassai teaming with Sitaram Kattel. Kedar Ghimire’s character in Meri Bassai was of Magne Budo which got viral and became popular across the globe. With Magne Budo characters, Kedar Ghimire visited around 28 countried to perform in stage. After he came out of Meri Bassai, he started to work with Wilson Bikram Rai for a serial named as Khas Khus which is being broadcast only in YouTube. Kedar Ghimire is married and he has worked in two movies and is busy on his third film. Ramchandra Paudel is one of the leader of the village. The story is based on rural lifestyle and lower middle class people. The show represents many political as well as social issues on its episodes with educational comedy flavor. Dhurmus and Suntali directs the show.

When I travel I usually make it a point to try new food, some cultures don’t have fries in their diet and they are all skinny, others use spices to give taste and not oils or fats. Discovering different values and ways to get by in life is really interesting. You also need to visit exotic new places and discover what this wonderful world has to offer.
